Questions

Are these cross stitch alphabets free?

Yes. Every alphabet downloads free as a PNG chart, and a name or word up to 60 × 60 stitches downloads free as a printable PDF.

How tall will my letters be?

Each alphabet lists its height in stitches. On 14-count Aida, 14 stitches make one inch, so a 7-stitch alphabet is half an inch tall.

Can I use two colors or add a picture?

The generator makes one-color lettering. Choose "Fine-tune in editor" to recolor letters, add a border in another color, or combine the text with other stitches.

Can I sell work stitched with these alphabets?

Yes. The open fonts are under the SIL Open Font License and the built-in alphabets were drawn for this site; you can stitch and sell finished pieces with any of them.
